Overveiw
Atlas Tool is a Windows app for teams who have their own engine and use an atlas-based texture in their game.    It allows you to define sprites and sprite animations, then export this data in an easy-to-read file format.

This tool computes a text file from a sprite atlas with a fixed width for each sprite.  For example 16x16 sprites.  The text file can be parsed and used to define sprites, sprite batches, and also animate the sprites.

You can create a long sequence of animations with just 2 clicks (Tileset -> Batch -> Create New).

Quick Start:

1. Click to load your sprite sheet/atlas
2. Adjust the Sprite width/height under "Atlas" at the bottom.
3. Click "+" next to "Tileset" on the right.  Click "My Tileset" (You can change the name of this as well)
4. Click "+" under "Sprites"  to create a new sprite
5. Click "+" next to frames to add a new frame.

How To Use The DAT File
You can parse the saved .dat file and create animation frames out of it.   (The contents of the file should be self-explanatory.)

Future
Future installments would be to add Java, C++, ObjC interfaces to the download.
